Tulle

Tulle is light transparent fishnet plain or fancy fabric (cotton, half-silk, etc.)

Plain tulle is produced from two systems of threads on tulle machines; it is used for making and trimming ladies' dresses and linen and piece goods (gauze, embroidery, etc.).

 Fancy or curtain tulle is produced on curtain machines, or lace machines, (see Lace) and is used for hangings, veils, lace pillow covers, etc.
